ClogJam

 

ClogJam offers lessons for everybody!  People need NO prior dance experience. You don't need special shoes or clogs! We offer aerobic workouts to fun music and provide giggles along the way.

ClogJam also offers performances. The group has performed at nursing homes, parties, local festivals and benefits in the area. They LOVED dancing at Irish Fest with the band, The Amadans.  They have also danced at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life cancer fundraiser at UW-L. This year ClogJam raised $576.00 for the fight against cancer.  In 2006, Tracy was honorary chair for this cancer benefit. They have also helped a Miss Wisconsin candidate at a fundraiser called the Intergenerational Fair. 

ClogJam specializes in performances that meet the needs of the occasion. ClogJam honored the veterans through dance at a patriotic show at the Houston County Fair. They try to include a section of the show for audience participation so the crowds can make some footnotes.

Finally, Christi & Tracy teach at workshops. They have held workshops in the area for the benefit of the Great River Folk Festival. Their efforts have brought back Irish, Hmong, Middle Eastern, and Norwegian dances to the festival held in August.  They have also taught lessons at Larryfest for the past 3 years.
